The 2007 AWP covers the preparation of the NHDR and DHDRs on the themes Social Exclusion and Human Development, and Vulnerability and the attainment of the MDGs at the local level respectively. This AWP is a continuation of the 2006 AWP activities.
This support is to deepen, disseminate and internalize the Human Development Report process through institutionalization, broadened participation and utilization of the results. In particular, the National Human Development Reports (NHDR) and the District Human Development Reports (DHDRs), will emphasize on the set of human capabilities and desires (such as living long and healthy lives, being educated, enjoying decent standard of living, and participating in social, political and economic life), outline impediments to national development on social exclusion at the national level and vulnerability at the local levels, constitute important analytical and advocacy instrument for the fight against poverty and other related social and economic setbacks at all levels, and contribute to advocate for the achievement of the MDGs.
