Its current priority is to help all countries achieve the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) by 2015.

We are on the ground in 166 countries, working with them on their own solutions to global and national development challenges. World leaders have pledged to achieve the Millennium Development Goals, including the overarching goal of cutting poverty in half by 2015. UNDP supported Sunflower Bio-diesel production in Ghana to start in January 2009
Agona Asafo(C/R), Nov. 10, GNA - A total of 230 hectares of Sunflower farms for the production of Bio-diesel had matured and ready for harvesting.

The farms, established at Tumu, Walewale, Mpaha and Damongo in the northern part of the country, and Agona Asafo near Agona Swedru in the Central Region are raw materials to feed the Bio-diesel factory that would begin production in January 2009.... >>Read

A three day workshop on election security management, aimed at harnessing the resources of key stakeholders for peaceful elections, has been held in Kumasi.
